The significance of this quote is that all people are equal and deserve to be treated with respect and equality. My idea for this photo was to mock society's handicapped sign. The handicapped logo and term is offensive to those who are with disability because of the fact that they are categorized differently from all other men and women. My photo illustrates this by inserting the the underlying meaning of an "able men's" bathroom to mock the the idea of having a " Handicaps bathroom". All areas should be accessible and user friendly to everyone, but seriously, we do not need to call these places "handicapped accessible".
To add all the details of my photograph, I used 2 other pictures than the regular men's bathroom sign. All I did was cut and paste certain signs and letters from the other pictures and was able to simply add them to the photo. I reduced the opacity for the added sections to 16% and this added a new feeling to the words. It was able to exemplify a "hidden meaning" or "ghost" effect with the lower opacity. That was how I was able to add the faint letters and symbols.
