Photo 1 Final
Shallow Depth of Field
This is an example of shallow depth of field because only the plant, which is closer to the camera is in focus. The background is very out of focus so the effect is present in the photo.
Blur
The effect of blur is easily present in this photo. His motion is not completely captured in a clean form and leaves some blur which exemplifies his movement.
Rule of Thirds
The subject is placed on a third of the image( left) and is an example of the rule of thirds. The subject was not placed in the middle of the image which would have mad the image boring.
Framing
This is an example of the framing compositional technique. The subject is framed by the two little figurines on the left and right which puts emphasis on him.
Lines
The fence in the background creates vertical lines. I chose to use a fence because it was an easy, real-world example of lines that is common but can be used to add create balance in an image.
Point of View- Becoming the Subject
This is an example of point of view. More specifically, it is becoming the subject and i used it to give off the idea of seeing from the subject or photographers point of view.
Simplicity
This image is an example of simplicity for many obvious reasons. There is not really any representation of patterns or intricate details and the background is very plain which puts focus on Zeek, the main subject.
Pattern
Patterns are clearly present on the balls and also in the way they are uniformly placed. The patterns are visually pleasing and make the image very interesting.
Silhouette
This is clearly a silhouette in that only the shape of the main subject is visible due to the bright light the camera is exposing to (street light). This type of image was useful to me in my music video because it conveyed a depressed feeling that fit very well with the song.
Shadow
The shadow is clearly seen in this image and this is because the street light, the main light source, lit up the front of Jomar leaving a shadow behind him. This type of image also fit well with my song.
Side Lighting
This is an example of side lighting because exactly half of his face is lit up, stoping at the bridge of his nose. I was able to get this image around 6-7 in the evening with sunlight peering through my window in my living room.
